A solo exhibition that chronicles the remarkable four-year relationship between artist Aja Moon and her vibrant, expressive art. This showcase delves into the artistic journey of this Washington DC native, who began her painting adventure amidst the global pandemic. At the heart of the exhibition is Moon's first collection, "creatHER: constructing the Black Woman." This poignant series features seven powerful portraits that celebrate Black feminine radiance, resilience, and strength. Adding a dynamic dimension to the exhibition, Moon's collaboration with award-winning fashion designer Sean Bellamy of bemade for NYFW SS 2023 is also on display.
